Why we need to proactively manage our expectations and mindset:


Iβve just spent a few moments lookinig at your post. It sums up something Iβve been thinking about. I wonder though whether instead of a circle it is more of a downward spiral? The multiplier being the point at which the spiral starts to go downwards, and expectations become even darker than before?
Now I have to work out how to break the spiral. Would it be okay if I share your diagram with my coach?

@vatark Oh good thoughts, I think youβre absolutely right. Our expectations would tend to be magnified, or intensified, and the less we question them, the more automatic they become. Which means it can work in our favor with positive expectations too. Feel free to share!
