Asking for recommendations: a decent office chair. My space is small and many ergonomic chairs I’ve looked at are L A R G E. Also, I’m not large so I need a chair that’s proportional (5'4", petite frame). Would be great if it didn’t cost big money. Anyone have a chair they love?
Greg Moore I have a really fancy Steelcase model that I “stole” out of the university’s trash because one arm was broken. I removed the other arm and we’ve been in love for the last three years.
All that to say, try looking for a local second hand office store. When you only need one chair to be the right fit for you and it doesn’t have to come with a new price tag.
Jean MacDonald I really like this IKEA chair. I think there might be a smaller version. Solid and comfortable.

Rick Cogley we live in Japan so we have Japanese brands, but, I like my Okamura which fits my frame, and my wife likes her Itoki that fits her frame.
