Do you ever think: “Nothing matters” or “I’m doing it all wrong” or “What’s the point?”
Sometimes I think that too.
Then I go outside.

I felt the same last weekend before going on a hike with my friend for her birthday. The outdoors will save us.

Yep and yep. It's amazing how it puts my problems into perspective.

yup! The sunshine and fresh air is SUCH a reset. I wish I had a balcony

Yes, absolutely. Being out under the stars also helps me remember the bigger perspective.

You know you have a mental problem if being in nature doesn't help lift your spirit. Trees and their smells and pheromones seem to calm a busy mind, especially the conifer kind of tree. Think non-artificial Christmas tree. No idea if there's been rigorous research on this idea, but many seem to agree with it.

@miguelmanalo yes! hope you get a balcony someday (i love mine!)

@loulesko thanks! And I would love some whiskey recommendations. email is am @ anniemueller.com or replying here works, too. thank you!

@renevanbelzen Oh that's an interesting thought. I do think there's got to be a benefit to being around conifers so you have green all year round.

@pimoore that's a great way to put it. Definitely true for me. Any kind of movement outside is healing in so many ways.
