Another post, whaaaaat? — Faith doesn’t look like being brave

are you sure reasonable people know what they’re doing? Maybe they only appear to know and really they’re making it up as they go along, like most of us?

I wonder hope is a better word than faith in this. The only expectation with faith is belief. Hope is more based on belief in an outcome. I may just be confusing myself, but interesting read nonetheless.

I’m reading Meditations for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman. He says on page five “… the truth is that even the most experienced and qualified people feel as though they’re winging it, much of the time …”.
