I'm probably talking shit, getting up in my feelings, reading, writing, looking at trees, drinking whiskey, dancing, taking long walks, or doing obsessive research.

This post is not about body wash

Robert Killington

At a guess I’d say one system was designed to work with as many tools as possible, whereas the other system seems to have been designed to meet a cost limit. I see something similar when I’m collating information for a newsletter. One website provides me with all the data I need, whereas the official source only provides one element, and I have to use both to get the link to the latter - best to have the data straight from the horse’s mouth?

TIL some people bathe with a… washcloth??

Also, thank you so much for linking me to this body wash. I friggin love Eucalyptus scented body washes and am always looking for a better one. How strong is the scent in this one?

@nitinkhanna lol, takes all kinds I guess!

Scent is not so strong in this one. Nice, but fades quickly.

@robertk I’d agree, seems like cost limits were definitely part of what contributed to this particular poor design. although sometimes cost limits can lead to great innovation. not in this case, ha.

Yes, putting a restriction on something can lead to a more creative solution. Which something Austin Kleon says with some regularity.
